Fascinators

Created here at Silk Pixie, we were inspired to create unsual hair ornaments after attending a wedding in 2019 where the reception dance floor was a sea of mass-produced navy fascinators and we thought we could design different and better!

Then, while working in a shop in Foregate Street, Chester, during Race Week in 2024, it was certain that they are still very much in vogue.

However, dainty hair wear is nothing new, we had a Great Aunt, who was born in the 1890s, referring to such hair accessories as a "Blob of Tulle"!
